WelcomeThe New Brunswick Social Policy Research Network (NBSPRN) is a network of people engaged in activities that contribute to evidence-based public policy development. It includes researchers, academics, sectoral experts, practitioners, policy analysts, and informed citizens. The NBSPRN provides a mechanism whereby government policy developers can connect with researchers and informed communities for the purpose of creating policy grounded in research evidence, offering experts an opportunity to conduct work relevant to socio-economic development. The mechanism functions in a number of ways. Primarily, it functions as a database wherein contributors to the policy-making process can identify each other through a member search or a research match. To utilize the database, public policy contributors must become members and post their profiles for optimal connectivity and collaboration opportunities. As well, the NBSPRN serves as an information tool, providing resource links to relevant social policy issues, organizations, events, funding agencies and partners. |
